February 2011 Newsletter: We're open!

First of all I just want to say a big thank you to each and every one of you for being part of our journey. You’ve helped us shape our B&B and I do hope you continue to follow us in the future.
Now, the good news… today we are OPEN! Our very first guests are arriving any moment now and we’re very excited!
It’s been a long, hard path to get here, but we’ve finally made it. You’ll have noticed that I haven’t emailed you over the past couple of months. Partly due to being extremely busy, moving house, dealing with tradesmen, morning sickness (did I mention I’m pregnant?!) and a multitude of other things. Anyway, I apologise.
The nutshell version is… the renovation work was over budget and delayed, but aren’t projects like this always that way!? We haven’t quite finished renovating yet, but thankfully we prioritised all B&B work, and they finally finished it all off, TODAY! Yes, we had painters doing the hall, stairs and landing until 4pm this afternoon!

This will be my last “update” email, however I will periodically send out special and exclusive offers just to you, so if you’re happy to continue receiving my witterings, you need do nothing. The new website is still under construction. I’ve seen the first draft, and it looks excellent, although there were a few changes that needed doing. As soon as they’re sorted it’ll go live, and again I’ll let you know when it’s up and running. The http://lakesblog.weebly.com/book-now.html website is still active and can take bookings should you wish to come and stay. We do hope to see you very soon. Don’t forget, you get a special discount for all 2011 bookings because you receive this newsletter. Simply book your stay and then email me from your registered email address and I’ll deduct £10 per room per night for summer bookings and £5 per room per night for winter bookings.
Also, if you’re one of the first 20 bookings you’ll also receive an additional £5 per room per night discount. We’ve still got a few places left, so book quickly! J
