About Us

Sarah Wilson

Born in Wimbledon and brought up in Purley, South London I'm a 33 year old suburbian girl through and through.  I've lived and worked in the City all my life but have always had a big love of adventure and the outdoors.  In December 2009 the life-changing idea of upping sticks and buying to a Bed and Breakfast in the Lake District was born!

I'm a keen adventuror, runner, cyclist and a open water swimmer.  My aims include swimming in every lake in the Lake District and climbing every peak.

My intention is to run the B&B as a lifestyle choice. 

Chris Wilson

I'm currently based down in London as a Software Consultant, a northerner in a southerners world! And I enjoy running in the open spaces of Richmond and Bushy Park.

I grew up in the North West and probably spent one weekend in three in the Lakes between the ages of 13 and 18.  After university I dreamt of living in the Lakes but found my work emanating towards the big City. 

My intention is to continue working as a Consultant (working from a home office) and through this adventure enjoy the benefits of living in a lovely home in the Lake District.
